As Business Development Specialist Food ContactCompliance, you are responsible for initiating, developing andmaintaining relationships with key stakeholders that are part ofthe food contact material production chain. You do this in a waythat ensures that customer needs are well understood, and you haveaccess to the right decisionmakers. Your responsibilitiesinclude:
- Global key accounts willfall under your responsibility, as well as mid size customers andprospects, based in North-Western Europe
- Inclose cooperation with analytical experts, you develop theproposals for studies and projects that match the customer needs,and you set the applicable commercial conditions
- You perform the proposal follow-up, includingnegotiation, deal closure, and evaluation
- Youidentify opportunities for follow-up on basis of customer insightsas well as market and technological trends

Forthis position as Business Development Specialist Food ContactCompliance we are looking for a candidate with a strong network ofregulatory and/or quality professionals in the Food ContactMaterial world
- Hbo or MSc degree inBiotechnology, Analytical (bio)chemistry, Life Science andTechnology are other relevant field
- At least 5years of experience B2B sales
- Strong networkof regulatory and/or quality professionals in the food contactmaterial industry
- Thorough knowledge ofrelevant legilisation and regulations related to food contactmaterials
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit,analytical power, a winning mentality, and a relationshipbuilder.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Long-term employment, starting with aone-year contract directly with the company
- Salary that matches the position, and depends on yourexperience and expertise
- Full-time position(40 hours/week), where 32 hours a week is negotiable
