In the role of Manager Financial Controlling your major tasks and areas of responsibilities will be:
Prepare, analyse and explain management information whilst managing a small team & supporting them in the controlling of other areas (countries) of our business. This in order to manage and control the country organizations (internal information) and to prepare external (legally required) reporting. Youll also be involved in financial projects & group consolidation.
Your main tasks and areas of responsibilities will be:
Prepare, analyse and explain periodical (monthly and yearly) internal reporting
Prepare, analyse and explain budget figures
Prepare periodical (monthly, yearly and budget) reporting to investors
Review investment proposals and advise on feasibility
Responsible for coordinating external audit, liaising with Deloitte and internal teams for a timely and efficient process, including writing of position papers
Prepare statutory annual reports and coordinate corporate income tax returns with support from external Tax Advisors, VAT accounting plus any other legally required reports and submissions
Follow-up on fiscal advice with regards to capital structure and provisions
Continually improve control mechanisms and processes to ensure strong financial controls
Responsible for fixed asset and capital accounting
Responsible for IFRS16 lease and estates accounting
Identify opportunities/risks in tax position, including transfer pricing, and provide advice
Manage and work on projects to improve internal information systems, reports and internal procedures.
The perfect candidate for this responsible role within Hunkemöller will have the following:
Qualified accountant , preferably from big four accounting firm, to senior manager level
8 years (approx.) relevant working experience as a (financial) controller in an international and fast moving company
Experience in a private equity environment, Retail experience would be preferred
Background as an auditor and experience in IFRS reporting is a must
Senior attitude when it comes to structure priorities, deadlines and targets within the team
Results oriented and highly analytical
Excellent and professional internal and external communication skills
Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and consolidation tools is a plus
