Merchandiser – Adecco – Hilversum

We are looking for a  Merchandiser who can start in September. The role is for 40 hours per week, with a 6 months contract to start with.

What does the role involve?

As our  Merchandising Specialist , you will inspire and serve our consumers by supporting the Nike Direct merchandising team in building a top in class merchandising & product assortment for EMEA. Responsible for seasonal assortment creation of a respective area of the business, creating a Nike Direct omni-channel assortment that caters to both Nike.com and Nike stores. This role will require close collaboration with consumer merchandising, Nike Direct planning & allocation team, and digital experience team, to bring an EMEA consumer-right assortment to life.

What will you be doing?

• Support and build assortments from seasonal strategy to execution. showcase visually and reflect in assortment plan (excel and tools); decide on product distribution and flow of product for Nike Direct

• Partner with respective counterparts on seasonal product needs, review assortment together to avoid cannibalization and to drive a cohesive strategy for the season.

• Present seasonal strategy for respective business portfolio during sign-off gates and seasonal handovers to other stakeholders

• Attend trade meetings and use dashboards to understand the performance of the business portfolio; read-and-react using data to drive informed decisions to optimize the business and provide input on monthly or quarterly business re-caps

• Drive a membership offering for Nike Direct in collaboration with Consumer Merchandising

• Provide geo consumer insights to relevant stakeholders

• Delivers on functional expectations within the code process.
