Your Tasks
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Assisting in building and supporting infrastructure for scalable applications that handle high levels of traffic.
Collaborating with the team to support our culture of “you build it, you monitor, run, and secure it” by providing tools and support.
Utilizing external services when needed to find effective solutions.
Supporting and assisting with technical requests from developers teams as required.
Contributing to the building and deployment of development environments using skills such as Go, Terraform, Helm, and bash scripting
Developing a growing understanding of security systems, techniques, and tools.
Participating in scaling and performance optimization efforts by helping to identify potential growth areas and suggesting solutions.
Sharing your knowledge/experience/interests with others – be it through pairing, a company passion talk or speaking externally.
Working with our technical stack: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Argo Rollouts, Azure, Grafana Stack, NGINX, Kong, Akamai
Your Profile
The ideal Platform Engineer should possess the following skills and experience:
Some experience with one or more cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or a similar system.
Familiarity with the cloud-native ecosystem, containers, Kubernetes, etc.
Basic proficiency in building and deploying with some of the technologies: Go, Helm, Terraform, and bash scripting, with a desire to deepen these skills.
A foundational understanding of cloud security systems, techniques, and tools, with a willingness to learn more.
Focus on ensuring efficiency, stability, observability and reliability in system operations.
Ability to work collaboratively with the team and independently on assigned tasks.
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and applying them to improve infrastructure.
The salary range is approximately €4,400 to €6,200 per month.
