The Job
The Role
As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be the key link between our clients and the organization. You will maintain daily contact with customers around the world, ensuring excellent service and support. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing quotations, processing orders, and communicating delivery schedules, ensuring smooth operations within the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and order confirmations.
- Manage order processing.
- Maintain written and verbal communication with both internal and external clients regarding technical and commercial aspects.
- Monitor delivery times in consultation with production, purchasing, and logistics teams.
- Provide administrative and commercial support to Account Managers.
- Assist the commercial team with marketing activities.
- Coordinate transportation logistics.
The Profile
Knowledge and Skills
- Completed vocational (MBO) education, preferably in a technical or commercial field.
- A few years of work experience in a similar role, ideally in a technical environment.
- A balance of being entrepreneurial and service-oriented, with strong commercial, communication, and administrative skills.
- Character traits: proactive, result-driven, and customer-focused.
- Knowledge of and experience with modern software packages (Exact)
- Fluent in Dutch & English
The Employer
Our client is a specialist in homogenizers, providing services and parts to the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Based in Hilversum, our client has sales offices in China, Shanghai, and Singapore. The machines are designed and built in-house. Parts are supplied from stock, and service is provided internationally. Our client’s customers are renowned companies such as Nestlé, FrieslandCampina, Shell, and Abbott, located on all continents. To facilitate further growth, we are seeking a motivated Sales Operations Specialist to replace a key member of the team.
