What will you be doing as a Security Engineer at Independer?
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our infrastructure is protected and complies with security policies and regulations.
Your responsibilities:

Design and implement security protocols to protect our networks and infrastructure.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to uncover security risks.

Maintain incident response plans to swiftly handle security incidents and breaches.

Investigate security breaches and suspicious activities, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Monitor security alerts, analyze events, and respond to emerging threats and cyber-attacks.

Implement security architectures and system configurations that align with security requirements.

Recommend enhancements to security controls to improve our overall security posture.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into all system and network development phases.

Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents.

Provide security training and awareness programs to employees across the organization.
