Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and driving customer success from onboarding through growth? Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to serve as the trusted advisor to their publishing industry clients, taking full ownership of their journey with our client's solutions.

Your Role

As an Account Manager:

  • You'll be the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, managing the entire customer lifecycle.
  • You'll work closely with customers to understand their business objectives, guide them through the implementation and optimisation of our client's applications, identify growth opportunities, and ensure they get the most value from their solutions.
  • Your day-to-day will include strategic account planning, conducting business reviews, managing contract renewals and upsells, coordinating with their development and operations teams to resolve technical challenges, and acting as the voice of the customer within their organisation.
  • You'll be both a strategic advisor and a hands-on problem solver—helping clients navigate configuration needs, analysing complex queries, and ensuring seamless adoption of new features.

Requirements

What Makes You Perfect for This Role

Your Profile:

  • Experience in the publishing or IT industry, enabling you to speak clients’ language; familiarity with publishing software or ERP systems is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships end-to-end, with a solution-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • An exceptional communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Energised by helping customers succeed and building trust-based, long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, constructive attitude and a willingness to continuously deepen product expertise.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (additional languages are a bonus); driver’s license preferred for occasional client visits.
  • Availability two days per week on-site at the Hilversum office or at customer locations.
  • Open to leveraging AI tools to work smarter and deliver deeper insights.
