As an Allocator, you play a vital role in ensuring Nike succeeds with the consumer. Your decisions make sure the right merchandise assortment is available at the right time, in the right stores, and in the right quantities. In this role, you will join our strong retail team at the European Head Office in Hilversum, where you will manage some of our most premium retail doors across the European market.
This is a temporary assignment until October 2026.
What will you be doing?
- Leverage market trends and partner with Merchandising & Assortment Planning to drive strong assortments
- Analyze sales and inventory data to forecast demand and optimize replenishment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and act on risks and opportunities
- Manage allocations within capacity, ensuring smooth transitions across seasons and campaigns
- Provide clear reporting on stock positions, risks, and opportunities
- Support launches and campaigns by ensuring the right product coverage
- Define optimal depth per store/style/size based on data, targets, and capacity
- Minimize end-of-season stock and maximize sell-through

- 1+ year of relevant experience (e.g., allocation, planning, sales, finance, retail)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial mindset with the ability to trade and negotiate
- Proactive self-starter who takes ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage timelines, build networks, and leverage resources effectively
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems agility (knowledge of allocation tools is a plus)
