I am hiring an Engineering Manager for a long-standing client within the Shipping and Logistics industry in Hilversum.
Salary up to: €125,000 per annum
Location: Hilversum – 3 days a week on-site & 2 days WFH
Fluency in Dutch required
Your role as an Engineering Manager:
As an Engineering Manager you will lead and develop a team of engineers within the product development organisation. You will foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions within the B2B SaaS product. Working closely with product and cross-functional teams, you will aim to remove blockers/address challenges, champion engineering best practices, and help shape the engineering culture and organisational structure.
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead
- Strong software development background with the ability to understand, evaluate, and discuss technical decisions
- Clear perspective on code quality, system architecture, and engineering best practices
- Experience with modern software development methodologies and delivery processes
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
- You can speak both English and Dutch
Bonus if:
- You have a background in Shipping, Transportation or Logistics
- You have experience in scaling engineering teams in a start-up
- Experience in the following tech stack – .NET, Typescript, Vue.js/Vue3.
