We are looking for a passionate procurement professional to help shape the future of how Nike works with its suppliers. This is a 6‑month temporary assignment. What are you going to do?

You will play a key role in supporting Nike’s growth, innovation, and operational excellence. From Nike’s EMEA Headquarters, you will optimize processes, improve supplier performance, and contribute to long‑term procurement strategy for both Nike and Converse. As Category Lead, you own the full Plan‑to‑Pay process across the Creative & Production, PR/Communications, and Social Marketing Services categories. You will:

  • Develop and execute EMEA sourcing strategies in collaboration with global and local procurement teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage risk
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensure strong two‑way communication, and monitor performance
  • Secure timely, high‑quality delivery while identifying strategic sourcing opportunities and continuous improvements
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across Marketing, Brand Creative, and PR/Comms
  • Support strategic projects, including roster reviews and major upcoming Brand and Big Sport Moments

What do we ask?

We are looking for an experienced Category Management professional with a strong background in marketing procurement and 8–10 years of relevant experience, including at least five years in category management. You bring strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable strategies. You have a solid understanding of commercial agreements and risk mitigation, and you navigate complex, matrixed international environments with confidence.

You demonstrate ownership, proactivity, and strong project leadership capabilities, and are familiar with procurement tools such as Coupa, SAP, Aravo, or Conga. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
