What are you going to do?
As a Senior Assortment Planner, you will be responsible for developing and influencing seasonal assortment plans based on rolling sales forecasts, inventory positions, and financial targets across the Nike Marketplace Partner (NMP) business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Sports & Business Planning, and S&IM.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining seasonal assortment plans based on rolling SSP forecasts, including retail sales (value and units), receipts, and inventory across Franchise, Merch Class, Sport, and Marketplace Units.
- Driving product-led Open-to-Buy (OTB) forecasts to support manufacturing decisions and in-season optimization.
- Analyzing business performance against plan, forecasted sales, and inventory targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Identifying risks and opportunities and developing action plans to improve business performance.
- Monitoring top Franchise SSPs and driving cross-marketplace decision-making to optimize product health and capture consumer demand.
- Supporting pricing, trading, and assortment optimization decisions through data-driven insights.
- Managing end-to-end inventory health across categories and Marketplace Units while understanding the impact on overall marketplace performance.
- Communicating assortment plans and recommendations to cross-functional leadership teams.
- Partnering with Sales teams to optimize sell-in performance in line with marketplace strategies and business objectives.
- Independently leading projects and initiatives while effectively managing priorities and deliverables.

What do we ask?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Assortment Planning, Merchandise Planning, Retail Planning, or a related planning function.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, inventory management, and product planning processes.
- Proven ability to leverage data, forecasting methodologies, and analytical insights to build fact-based plans.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience identifying business opportunities and risks through data analysis.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning and reporting tools is preferred.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
