Due to the ongoing growth, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer (2 – 8 years of experience).

Non-Dutch candidates are possible for this position, but it is important that you already have a Dutch working permit.

Customers of this organization are located worldwide and are served from the headquarters in the Hilversum region, which will also be your workplace.

Job description:

As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be joining a team consisting of other Developers, Architects, and Data Engineers. Together, you will work on building technically complex products. These can be internally developed applications intended for sale, as well as projects where an application is customized according to a client’s requirements. Additionally, you will also work with in-house developed applications that need to be integrated with clients’ internal systems. In short, this is a role where you will encounter various projects, each with its own challenges.

Examples of recent projects include a system that allows the customer to efficiently monitor and handle support requests, as well as an application for real-time ship tracking via satellite connection. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will build applications that extract data from systems and translate it into useful information. You will utilize the latest tools and techniques to ensure smooth workflow. You have a strong sense of responsibility and prioritize delivering high-quality and reliable products.

Requirements:

You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s level of education;

You have 2 to 8 years of working experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer;

Experience with SQL and or Python would be nice, but is not mandatory;

You have a strong sense of responsibility and deliver high-quality products;

You are seeking a position that provides real challenges and where the bar is set high;

You have a Dutch passport or a Dutch working permit!
