The Job
As Project Manager,you will work on:
Project planning:
– leadtimes,milestones, critical paths,
– mitigation plans,project risks, staffing, budgets
– organizeengineering samples/models
– define teststrategy
– manage externaldependencies
– EMS selection
Project management:
– set structure;meetings, reports, documentation
– replanning andresource alignment
– be first point ofcontact for customer escalations
– guard projectresources, administration
Project closure &finalization
– define end-gamestrategy, release notes
– manage first seriesof production
Project aftercare
– manage troubletickets, bug-fix releases
– initiate costreduction plans
– monitorobsolescence planning
– implementmaintenance and support contracts
Documentation andarchiving
Meeting withcustomers or suppliers
Sales and accountmanagement interaction
Coordinate projectsestimates
Requirements
Master’s orBachelor’s degree in technology domain e.g. telecommunication/electrical
engineering/embeddedsoftware.
Minimum of 3 years ofprofessional experience as project manager.
Some experience inmanagement development/technical teams.
Knowledge/Experience
Understanding ofvarious project methodologies
Customer focused
Ability to balancemany different projects and priorities at the same time.
